Box Zones can help support your organization’s data residency needs by allowing you to store your content in the geographic region of your choice. Box is focused on expanding our Zones product offering to help our customers accelerate digital while raising the bar for privacy, trust, and control in the Content Cloud. As our customer base and usage continues to grow, we are further investing in our infrastructure to continue helping customers accelerate their digital transformation, and are introducing new subdomains for Box Zones.
Box administrators that have configured a firewall and have listed Box Zones domains in their allowlist must add the new domains to avoid experiencing intermittent issues with Box uploads and downloads. A firewall is a component of network security that defines what network traffic is and is not allowed in and out of your enterprise. Box Admins who control their user’s access to Box via a firewall should add the following domains to their allowlist by June 20, 2023:
