As announced last year, we have been developing new integrations with Microsoft 365 Copilot that will allow our joint customers to utilize the power of Microsoft 365 Copilot to enhance the usefulness and value of their Box files.
This first release will leverage our existing Box Connector for Microsoft Graph to integrate with Microsoft 365 Copilot, starting in Teams. By enabling the Box Connector for Microsoft Graph, admins can provide users with the ability to easily access and gain insights from their Box content through interactions with Microsoft copilot.
Instead of spending time digging for information in files and folders saved across Microsoft Teams and Box, this new integration will allow users to:
- Quickly synthesize and summarize Box documents in Teams to draw insights from collaborators.
- Ask questions of Box content to derive major milestones in an existing project.
- Limit the need to scroll through Chats and Channels in order to get up to speed more quickly on conversations and new learnings.
Requirements:
- Customers will need a Microsoft Copilot license, learn more here in this Microsoft article.
- The Box Connector for Microsoft Graph will need to be enabled by Box, please complete this form to request to be enabled, learn more here in this Box Support article.
