Box for Microsoft Office empowers your users to collaborate securely and seamlessly on Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files on Box with the ability to co-author documents in real time, with all changes auto-saved back to Box.
Users can now coauthor on linked worksheets in Microsoft Excel. When values in the source file changes, these values are automatically updated in the destination file.
This enhancement is now available for customers in Microsoft’s Current Channel (GA) and Monthly Enterprise Channel (GA) for Office 365 updates with Semi-Annual Channel release targeted for July 2024.
This release now streamlines your productivity and collaboration in the Office ecosystem by opening up use cases in Excel such as the ability to:

Link worksheets from several departments and then integrate pertinent data into a summary worksheet. When the source worksheet changes, the summary worksheet is updated.

Create different views of data by creating several report worksheets that only link to pertinent data.
