Our partnership with Microsoft has always centered around making your secure content easier to work with, we’re excited to continue this trend by bringing Admin delegated authorization to Admins using Box for Teams. Currently, using this integration empowers your teams to view, share, collaborate, and manage Box files, both internally and externally, all within Microsoft Teams. However, Box for Teams users have to authorize their Box account every time they logged in.
With this new release, admins can navigate to the Admin Console and authorize all the users in their organization. Removing this step for their users and making deployment and adoption faster and easier.
This requires Admin activation from the Box Admin Console and Admins will also be required to accept additional permissions the next time they use the Box for Teams app.
