Box for FTP - 530 - Application Blocked by Administrator

When trying to access Box via FTP, you receive the error message "530: The application is blocked by your administrator".

Resolution Steps

In order to use Box for FTP, your Box admin will need to enable FTP in the Admin Console. The steps to do so can be found here.

Root Cause

The Administrator of your Box instance has disabled access to Box for FTP.
