The checkbox to enable app notifications within Box Account Settings is greyed out 

Behavior

You can enable app app notifications for Microsoft Teams within the Notifications section of your Account Settings. Sometimes the "Get notified in Microsoft Teams" checkbox is greyed out and the message "Microsoft Teams is not currently installed and/or enabled. Install Microsoft Teams in the App Centre" is shown.

Steps to resolve

To enable the functionality, you need to interact with the notification in Microsoft Teams first which will prompt you to login for the notification toggle to show up under account settings. Logging into Box via the Microsoft app should suffice - you don't need to actually share or upload a file.

Unable to remove notification: "(User's Name) added Box here. Try an action below to see how it works."

You are unable to remove a notification even after disabling Microsoft Teams notifications within the Notifications section of your Account Settings.

This notification is configured by Microsoft Teams and Box is unable to assist with removing the notification. Please contact Microsoft directly for further assistance.
