Choosing a Default Application to Open a File

Box enables you to select which default application to use when you view various file types in Preview.

To select a default application for viewing file types:

  1. In the top-right corner of your Box window, click your account icon and select Account Settings.
  2. In the top of the window, click Integrations.
  3. Scroll down to the Opening Integrations section.
  4. Under Open With, for each available File Type select an application.  Box will use this application when opening that file type in Preview.
  5. In the top-right corner of the window, click Save Changes.
