Last month, we discovered an unexpected behavior in the Move, Copy, and Share actions from the edit menu in the Files app that is allowing content from Managed Apps to be passed to Unmanaged Apps.
We have introduced the ability to limit this unexpected behavior in the Admin Console under the Mobile tab. By enabling this feature, we will automatically disable Files functionality for unprotected versions of iOS and automatically reenable the Files functionality when a protected version of iOS comes online. Enabling this feature means that some workflows might be affected because of turning off the Files functionality.
