As Box continues to introduce new and exciting updates to Box AI, enabling our customers to capitalize on the full potential of Agents, we recognize the importance of also providing admins comprehensive insight into AI usage. This visibility helps our customers ensure that their Box plan is meeting the usage demands of their users.
Earlier this year, we updated the Admin Dashboard - Total AI Activity with a new insight showing the combined count of user queries and chargeable API calls, to augment our existing AI Units insight. We have now updated updating our model to also track usage of some of our new AI features such as Q&A, Text Gen, and Metadata Extract. Users already leveraging these features may notice an uptick in their chargeable AI activity when the update goes live.
