We released the ability for users to dynamically generate custom documents in Microsoft Word (docx) format when using the Box Doc Gen outcome in Box Relay. In February 2025, we released the Box Doc Gen outcome in Box Relay, enabling Enterprise Advanced customers with the ability to configure Box Relay workflows to automatically leverage Box Doc Gen templates to generate custom documents in seconds. However, users leveraging the Box Doc Gen outcome in Box Relay can only generate custom documents in PDF format, which limits the ability for them to edit and collaborate on generated documents. With this new capability, users will be able to edit and collaborate on documents in Microsoft Word even after they've been generated using the Box Doc Gen outcome in Relay.
