We have released a new version of Box Drive (v2.24) on Windows and Mac including feature enhancements and bug fixes.

Brand new architecture for Box Drive on macOS - Box Drive has been re-built on a completely brand new architecture on macOS with Apple File Provider Extensions (FPE). This new version of Box Drive provides more seamless and secure access for Box Drive on Intel and M1 devices and no longer requires use of kernel extensions. It will be supported on macOS 11.5+ and macOS 12 for Intel and M1 devices. It will also provide support for Mac Packages in Box Drive!
Box Drive with FPE supports the following operating systems and devices:

Operating systems supported - macOS Big Sur (11.5 and above), macOS Monterey (12 and above)

Devices supported - Apple M1 and Intel-based Mac devices
