We released Thumbnails support on Box Drive v2.25(and beyond) for Box files in Explorer. This allows you to quickly scan the thumbnail preview of files as you navigate through them in Explorer without having to open these files. Thumbnails are also displayed in Box Drive search results. Thus making you more productive and Box Drive more visual and engaging!
Box Drive supports thumbnails for document, video, audio and image file types. You can refer to the detailed list of supported file types here.
* Please note that due to our phased release plans, even if you are on Box Drive v2.25 (or beyond) currently, the support to view Thumbnails in Box Drive on Windows will gradually be made available to you.
