Issue

When a Box Relay workflow is created so that a file action targets the file that triggered the flow, unprocessed files remain after the action completes.

Example: A workflow with a Move action is created, but files remain in the source folder.

Root Cause

This behavior depends on the trigger selected in the workflow.

Triggers fall into two categories: Triggers that support a single file and those that support multiple files.

In workflows that use a single-file trigger, setting the file action target to the file that triggered the flow results in the action being applied to only one file.

Resolution

Select a trigger suitable for the intended number of files to be processed within the workflow.

Whether a trigger supports a single file or multiple files can be confirmed in the file selection window when configuring a file action.
