We released new Command Line Interface (CLI) Automation Templates within the Admin Console Platform submenu. Automation Templates help admins find and leverage scripts to easily automate repetitive tasks such as provisioning new users, creating collaboration groups, deprovisioning users, and more.
The CLI is a tool for making requests to Box APIs from a terminal window or command prompt. It allows both technical and non-technical users to leverage the Box API to perform routine or bulk actions. There is no need to write any code, as these actions can be executed using commands. The following CLI sample scripts will be linked in the Automation Templates tab for easy access:
