    The issue you encounter seems related to what is described in this article: 

    I've ran the script that will recount all of the files and how much storage is being used in your account, so you should now see the correct storage size available in your Box.

    Hi France,

    I was really hopeful that would be the case and that it would correct the issue but it hasn't. Not sure what else to do.

    Hi Sammy, 

    I've checked your account and it seems to be reflecting now the correct storage and data value. If you need more storage, you may opt to upgrade your account,  or delete more contents to be able to upload new items in your Box.

    France, I don't know how that could be possible, I deleted thousands of files and I am seeing no change at all. I mean, zero change.
