how can I share a file so anyone can view and download it
I have a folder with one file in it. I want to make sure anyone can download the file. How can I do this? I've tried the "allow anyone who can see this folder from a shared link to join as a collaborator" and created a shared link to the folder and to the file, but neither link works. How do people share files with anyone that has access to box? The use case is that I want to put a link to this file on a w3publisher page. Anyone in IBM will have access to this publisher page.
Thank you.

Hi Heather,
Welcome to the Box Community!
Have you checked out this help article on:
If you want to ensure that anyone you share your link to will be able to access and download your Shared file, you want to make sure to set proper "Shared link permission".
People with the link: Anyone with the link can access the item and no Box account is required. For extra security, you can also set a password or expiration for the link, as well as restrict download and/or preview access for link viewers.
- Password-protected shared links are available to all paid Box User accounts.
- You may also enable/ disable the downloads for that specific file from the link settings.
Best,
-
I would like to share a link to a folder that contains multiple files to anyone with the link (even non-Box subscribers), but I do not see any options for that in the "shared link permissions." I would rather not have to send a link to each file in the folder to the recipient of my email.
