User can't access BOX via web browser
Hi! I created a shared folder and invited two users outside of my organization to upload their files.
One user is able to access BOX successfully via web browser, but the other is being asked to download the BOX app and cannot access via web browser. Due to their own organizational restrictions, they cannot download the BOX app.
I've checked settings on the folder, and have even created a new folder to see if that would help. They are still being asked to download the BOX app. Is there a way to get around this? They looped in their IT but IT was unable to resolve. Could it be device-related?
They have tried both Google Chrome and Internet Explorer web browsers with no success, both browsers are wanting them to download the BOX app. I even sent direct links to the folder, though that did not get us anywhere.
Thank you!

Hi Morgan,
Welcome to the Box Community!
It sounds like the organization may be blocking their access to Box webapp. You can advise them to check and make sure they configure their firewall or proxy to allow Box access following the steps in this article: Configuring a Firewall for Box
If collaboration won't still work, since you mentioned you need them to upload their files to your Folder, there are other upload methods you can choose from to collect files from non-box users:
Hope this helps!
