Co-Admin Rights
I've tried searching but can't find anything on this but does anyone know if there were changes made to Co-Admin rights recently? Prior to a few days ago, as a Co-Admin I was able to create a new user and give said user permissions to folders that I was neither owner of or had any permissions to. Now I'm unable to do that same action that I've been doing for 3 years and it throws "There was an error editing this user"

Hi Regan,
Welcome to the Box Community!
Please take a look at this article discussing on different privileges that an Admin can grant his/her user a. "Co-admin" permission.
You may also find this article useful: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043691634-Best-Practice-Creating-Your-Admin-Team
Hope that helps!

Hi France
I've looked at that article but it's not much help, in fact it points more to the fact that something did change because it states a Co-Admin can
Manage users: Add new users or edit existing user information and access levels (checked by default)
Edit user’s content: Modify any managed user’s files and folders.
Currently I can't...

Hi Regan,
If you've noticed that you are no longer able to perform a certain action you were previously allowed to as a Co-admin, I would recommend contacting the Primary admin of your account to confirm if they've made changes with your permission, as they are the only ones that can change these settings.
Best,
