Cannot upload from Box ios app
AnsweredThe box ios app doesn't work for uploading files anymore. It used to work and now no longer works. If I try to upload a picture from my photo album to Box, I get "Syncing - 1 remaining 1 Error" and then if I click the notice "Sync Activity IMG_8299.JPG Uploading Unsuccessful". It's pretty horrifying that I pay for Box but cannot get technical support. You have a bug in your app. Fix it. I pay for Box.
I can upload via Chrome if I get to my desktop computer. But I PAY FOR BOX and I should be able to upload via the app and cannot.
Truly unbelievable.

Please try these troubleshooting steps to fix your upload error in Box for iOS,
- Log out and log in from your Box for iOS.
- Uninstall and re-install your Box for iOS.
- Restart your mobile device.

I have tried this "answer" multiple times but my uploads continue to fail. I have large video files anywhere from 3-7 GB that I need to upload from my phone. My employer and I mirror the frustration of the OP. Yes, the uploads work fine from a desktop web browser interface but I need to be able to do it from my phone and it has yet to work. My colleague literally turned off the screen lock and left the app open for 2 days only to have the upload fail. Uploads have been attempted from various iPhones (12, 13 & 14) all with the latest iOS and the latest version of the app.
If there is another way to upload from a phone without using the buggy app - let me know.
