Access to shared files for external user restricted due to 'email domain is already reserved'
AnsweredHi all,
I am hoping to admit access to a shared file drive for a client. However, the client is having issues accessing the drive.
It seems his company has a corporate account. However, when logging in, he is prompted that the email domain is already reserved and therefore can not log in with his email and is not keen to check with his wider team.
Aside from 'make a copy' solutions, is there anything I can do to get his email address to access my shared files?

Hi Harry,
Welcome to Box Community!
According to your message, looks like the user's email domain is already locked for a certain Organization to use. And in order to collaborate with your colleague, you may advise him to setup an account with Box using a different email domain.
Or you can simply create an open/public shared link that will grant him an access to your Box contents.

- Set up your shared link's permission: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043696954-Securing-Shared-Links
Hope it helps!
