    Welcome to Box Community and glad to assist! 

    Kindly follow these troubleshooting steps in order to address your search issue, 

    • Updating your browser to the latest version
    • Clearing your browser's cache
    • Using Box with an alternate browser, computer, or network. 
    • Temporarily disabling any internet security/firewall programs to test whether they conflict with Box (Note: you may need clearance or assistance from your organization’s IT department/helpdesk to do this)
    • Temporarily disabling any plugins/extensions in your browser
    • Removing unwanted extensions, plug-ins, ads, pop-ups & malware:
    • Restart your machine.

    Hi Rona, Thanks for the comment. This doesn't help/respond to my concern. My issue is with searching for files from a browser window (or the iPhone App). This should occur on your end so that a keyword can be located in text readable files like PDFs, Word docs, etc. The solutions you suggested are all focused on my computer not the user experience with locating files stored on Box.
