adding another email gets me an error

I try to add an email to my account and I get an error saying: "There was an error while trying to add redacted@redacted.com to your account."

  Welcome to Box Community and glad to assist! 

  You can use the following troubleshooting steps to fix your issue, 

  • Updating your browser to the latest version
  • Clearing your browser's cache
  • Using Box with an alternate browser, computer, or network.
  • Temporarily disabling any plugins/extensions in your browser
  • Removing unwanted extensions, plug-ins, ads, pop-ups & malware:
    
    • Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari

  Lastly, please try adding your email again.
