    Have you checked out this article on managing your Email Notifications?

    End users in a Box instance can have different account wide settings by manually adjusting their email notification settings:

    (1) Account-wide email notifications: When email notifications are applied in the "Account Settings", it will be the default notification setting for all newly created folders in the account OR for folders that are set to "Use my default notification settings".

    • To set your desired email alerts for your account: Go to your Account Settings> Sharing tab> Notifications and see if you have enabled the notifications for certain actions such as "uploads"-- make sure to check this section to get email alerts when someone uploads to your folders or folders you have joined and don't forget to click on "Save Changes".

    (2) Folder specific level email notifications: When email notifications are applied in the "Folder Settings", it will be the default email notifications for all files in the folder and subfolders. Please note that you cannot trigger email notifications to yourself for actions you triggered.

    • This is the next item you want to check-- your Folder's settings. Look up the the main folder in your All files page in Box and click the 3 dots for "More options" and then choose "settings". You need to scroll down to see the "Email and Notifications" section and make sure that the option to receive notification for certain notifications is enabled/disabled.

    I have done this and have read additional documentation on this issue. Users are still not getting notifications for comments. What am I missing?

    I'm a new user, trying to get set up. I received a verification code but before I could get back to insert it the code expired. "Resend code" seemed to work but no code appeared in e-mail. What can I do?
