Notifications don't work when office files are edited "online"
Hi,
I would like to get an email notification when an excel file is updated (some change is done) by other editors. I have turn it on but it only works when they open excel and save it in non-online mode. In most cases, there are at least two editors working on the file at the same time. I have noticed that when they make changes working via online mode , notifications simply don't work.
How can I solve this? It is avalaible via BOX tool to do so?

Email notifications are only sent out around certain actions explained here. Our system is not currently configured to notify users when someone is opening a file for editing. The notification will only trigger when a file is previewed or a new version is saved and uploaded but not as it is being edited.
If this is something you would like to see in Box future updates, I would highly recommend submitting this feature request at pulse.box.com!
