Pls Run Script To Correct Space In Use
AnsweredMy account is showing over the limit, despite having removed about a sizable amount and confirming the content has been removed. I understand there is a script support can run to trigger a recalculation of the space in use and would appreciate this being done. TIA!

My Box account appears to be back up to snuff now. Not sure if the script was run with no update to this post or if after most of a week with inaccurate space reporting the info got updated some other way. After all is said and done, the total now is about 8-9 GB less than earlier today and is now within a reasonable variation of the actual amount I see locally.

Thank you for the update. Based on the current situation, it seems that Rona has no plans to handle posts like these. I've noticed that the issue with my account's capacity display has persisted for two weeks, while she has already started responding to and processing posts published later than ours. Meanwhile, all posts showing incorrect space are being left unprocessed. This handling approach is indeed quite confusing, and I hope that in the future, a more consistent and transparent process will be established to resolve these issues.

Hi there,
Welcome to Box Community and glad to assist!
Please note that this activity occurs when the countless activities, combined with the massive scale at which Box supports, makes it incredibly difficult to accurately display aggregated data points throughout our product at all times. If a folder’s storage space calculation is inaccurate due to these issues, the inaccuracies also impact the overall storage calculations for both the user and Enterprise. If you notice this in your account, most of the time, aggregates will be updated within an hour or less. For larger changes or more complex folder structures, aggregates may take up to 24 hours to be correct. To find out more, please visit the following articles, -
While I appreciate the message, the issue has persisted for much greater than 24 hours, for many users, and I am still showing an inaccurate quota usage when I compare the local files to what is showing on the cloud. I would greatly appreciate having the script run against my account to get everything back in order. Thanks again for the help.
