Relocation of Download folder to "Available for Offline" Box Drive Downloads folder.
Just installed Box Drive on a users laptop and during install I told users downloads will no longer be saved to Box.
In the past we would change the location of Downloads, Pictures, Desktop and Documents to point to certain Box Sync Folders, for backing up documents.
One particular user asked we keep their Download folder connected to Box, so I am wondering if that can be done with Available for Offline!
After testing it seems to work, but after a restart it is lost. The laptop drops the connection with the Box Drive folder and points to a temporary file.
In this case, the user is not logging out of Box Drive, but is restarting the laptop regularly. If the user logs back in, the downloads is still connected to an appdata/local/temp folder? Is there a way around this?
Thank you
Patrick

Hi Patrick,
Welcome to the Box Community!
This appears to be expected behavior as Box Drive does not support Windows folder redirection.
