    Welcome to the Box Community!

    Changing the location where Box Drive stores its app data or cached files is currently not supported. This idea has been shared to our Product team via Box Pulse and is currently under consideration. If you'd like to support this suggestion you can upvote or provide your direct feedback on it here.

    Using Box Sync might be an alternative as gives you an option to make this changes. When you first log into Box Sync (the first time after installing Box Sync) you have the option to customize the location of the "Box Sync" folder where Box Sync will store your synced content.
