    For your first question, have you checked out this article on Large Scale Deployments: Box Drive This may be relevant to your problem with the next steps.

    For your other question, yes Box Drive app icon and the icon in file explorer should open the Box Drive folder for the users, and based on the user experience you described, this is not the expected behavior. Could you have the affected user submit a ticket to Product Support team to help look into this issue? They need to login to their Box account, and submit a support ticket so the team can further investigate this behavior.
