Uninstalled Box Drive but Private/var files remain and cannot be deleted

I was having a sync issue between computers so i uninstalled box drive.  One shortcut didn't disappear, and looking into it, it is a temp file in private/var/T (can't remember the entire path).  It's over 200GBs and if i try to delete, it give me an error that says "The operation can't be completed because "[file name]" needs to be downloaded.  HOW DO I FIX THIS.  Box Drive is already uninstalled using the terminal command.  Thanks

    I was able to force delete this, but it did not result in reclaimed HD space.  I need some help here.

    May I confirm, if you followed this article to uninstall Box Drive from your computer?: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044196293-Uninstalling-Box-Drive

    Can you try to reboot your mac and see if there are still traces of Box Drive from your computer after booting the device?

    France all of the files in the /private/var/ folder are still there after the reboot.

    Any help would be appreciated.
