Unable to edit spreadsheet in Excel
When I click on the green box to "open this file on your computer or in the service of your choice", I don't have the option to open with excel (as I did yesterday). I can only open it in google docs.

Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!
In order to open a spreadsheet, you will need Box Edit/ Box Tools. Can you confirm if you have added Box Edit in the App center (https://cloud.app.box.com/app-center) for your account. If its already been added, try to Remove and then re-add the application, and then try opening the Excel file again.
If the issue persists, please share a screenshot of the options you see so we can take a look.

Thank you so much for your help with this. I uninstalled the app and re-installed as you recommended, but I still only see google drive as the only option to open the spreadsheet. It is only happening for one particular spreadsheet, and others I am able to open with excel. I am attaching a screenshot. Thank you!

To make sure that every angle is checked, can you you to do the following and then try opening this excel file again?
- Try to clear cache and cookies for your browser. Here is an article that walks through how to do this on the different browsers that Box supports.
- Try logging in to your Box Account using different browsers (or incognito) and see if it makes any difference.
- Try logging in to Box.com with add-ons or extensions disabled on your browser/s.
Let me know how it goes and if the issue persists, can you let me know what is the extension of the affected file?
