There are four levels of permissions in Box Hubs: Admin, Co-Owner, Editor, and Viewer.
- Admin can only enable Box Hubs for specific users/user groups.
- Co-Owner has the broadest permissions.
- Editor has the same permissions as a Co-Owner, except for creating and deleting a Hub, and managing Hub settings.
- Viewer can’t make any changes to the Hubs they are invited to.
Below table lists all actions each of them can perform in Hubs.

Notes
- If you access Box Hubs through a shared link and you have an editor access to some files or folders, you can't edit them from a Hub level. For more information on shared links, see Creating Shared Links.
- Granting a user access to a Hub automatically gives them Viewer permissions to all files and folders in that Hub. This does not apply to external or Box links embedded in the Hub using Link Preview.
- If a folder Uploader is invited to a Hub as Viewer, the folder Uploader permissions to the content change to Viewer/Uploader.
