You may notice that you have Box Sync icons in your Box account even though you do not have Box Sync installed or you just recently uninstalled Box Sync.
It is possible to mark a folder for Sync in your Box account even though you do not have Box Sync installed. This is designed to allow users to choose content to Sync prior to installing Box Sync and is completely normal to see these icons without using Box Sync. If you are not currently using Box Sync, there will be no impact. If you’d like to unsync this content then you can follow the steps listed here.
