We are happy to announce that coming soon it will be possible to use an Embed Widget link generation tool, available from the Box Note ellipsis menu.
The tool will allow to:
- Easily create an Embed Code (iframe HTML tag) for the Box Note you are viewing
- Customize the embedding frame size
- Choose a mode of displaying without navigation controls for a better focus on the particular Box Note you are willing to embed
- Choose a mode which always loads the embedded Box Note without the "Drag the Cloud" clickjacking prevention game and read-only (it will still be possible to use the cloud game opt out procedure for use cases which require the Box Note to be editable)
- Preview how an embedded Note will look
Additionally, thanks to this change, the users with proper permissions will be able to edit the Box Notes which are already embedded in third party applications or portals (not applicable to the current Microsoft Teams integration embeddings).
This new feature does not require any admin level setup.
