We are excited to share an important update regarding Box Apps. A new notification feature is now available to enhance communication between Box Apps and end-users by automatically alerting end-users when changes are made to a view within an App.
With this new feature:

Users can subscribe to views in Box Apps, enabling them to receive email notifications any time the following changes are made to a view within an App:
- An item is added
- An item is removed
- Any change occurs to an item

Users will have the ability to configure the frequency of the notifications, as well as the change threshold.

Users will be able to save significant time with a reduction in manual effort in communicating App access to other users.
With Box Apps, teams can work with information the way they prefer - using intelligent, no-code apps with custom dashboards, metadata views, and connected content workflows. This creates opportunities to customize all kinds of workflows — from managing contracts and processing invoices to onboarding employees and more.
Box Apps is available for Enterprise Advanced customers and can be easily enabled by your Box Admin from the Admin Console.
