We recently released conditional logic for fields when preparing signature requests and reusable templates within Box Sign. With conditional fields users can set up conditions to allow various fields to interact with each other, and enables users to expose specific fields when the specified conditions are met. This condition can be a single event, like checking a single checkbox, or it can be a combination of events where one of those events must occur to successfully meet the condition. For example, a recipient may be required to check a single checkbox to expose a signature field, or they may be required to either check a checkbox, select a single radio button from a group of radio buttons, or select an option from a dropdown menu of options to expose a signature field.
Conditional fields enables users to expose specific fields by leveraging the following actions or events:
- A checkbox is checked or unchecked
- A specific selection within a dropdown menu is selected
- A single radio button is selected from a group of radio buttons
Conditional fields enables organizations to significantly reduce errors and provide a more efficient and streamlined signing experience for their recipients by enabling them to only fill out, complete, or sign what they need to.
