Box Basics user training

Description:

Host a training session to get end users up to speed on Box basics. Deliver a virtual training session to increase user competency and drive collaborative use of Box across the organization.

Preparation:

The following questions will be asked of you ahead of kicking off this module. Be sure to read these and prepare your answers before beginning work on this topic!

• How do you typically train users on new applications?

• Has your Box account been fully configured and deployed to users?
• How are your end users leveraging Box today?
  • Box Web (Box via a browser)
  • Box Drive (Box's desktop application)
• How do your users edit files in Box?
  • Box Edit (requires installation of Box Tools)
  • Microsoft Office Online
  • Microsoft Office Desktop Co-Authoring
  • Google Workspace

In addition to your Box admin(s) and project team, you'll need to bring the following stakeholders to meetings related to this module:

• Anticipated customer time commitment: 1-2 hours for session planning, plus time for course attendance below
• One session to schedule training delivery and refine course delivery of the Box web platform limited to the following:

• One live English course delivery session, 60 minutes in length (up to 500 users) with one Box Trainer and one Box specialist
