When configuring single sign-on (SSO) on your own, it can currently take up to 24 hours for your metadata file to be processed. Once the file has been processed, Box sends a notification to the email address of the main account admin.
We’re excited to introduce a user experience improvement where after you submit a request to configure SSO, we will now provide you with an immediate status update. This gives you a more frictionless security experience by removing the potential 24 hour waiting period.
