The Collaborations report shows user permissions on all collaborated files. In this case, the "Owner Name" is the name of the folder's owner, "Inviter Email" is the email of the user who sent the invitation, and the "Collaborator Name" is the name of the user invited. You must define filters for the Collaborations report before you can run it.
Collaborations Report Details

- Filename and folder name time zone: the local date and time of the admin who ran the report or who set up the report schedule.
Collaborations Report Data Columns
This section describes the data columns that are generated in Collaborations reports. You can select which data columns appear in the report. All columns are selected by default, and the columns marked with an asterisk and grayed out in the dialog box are required.
- Collaboration ID
- A number that uniquely identifies the collaboration.
- Owner Name*
- Required. The value in the Name field in User Account Details of the owner of the collaborated item.
- Owner Login
- The value in the Email field in User Account Details of the owner of the collaborated item.
- Path
- The path to the file or folder from the root of your Box instance.
- Path ID
- A number that uniquely identifies the path.
- Item Name*
- Required. The name given to the file or folder.
- Item ID
- A number that uniquely identifies the file or folder.
- Item Type

The type of item collaborated with. Values in this field can be:
- File
- Folder
- Collaborator Name*
- Required. The name of the person invited to be a collaborator. If a managed user in your organization, the value in the Email field in User Account Details of the user who created the collaboration.
- Collaborator Login
- The email address of the person invited to be a collaborator, If a managed user in your organization, the value in the Email field in User Account Details of the user who created the collaboration.
- Collaborator Type

The type of collaboration created. Values in this field can be:
- User: [user name(s)]
- Group: [group name(s)]
- External
- Collaborator Permission
- The permission granted to the collaborator.
- Inviter Email

The value of the Email field in User Account Details of the user who created the collaboration.
The Inviter Email is blank in the following scenarios:
- For group collaborations.
- For collaboration invitations that were initially Pending and later accepted.
- If the inviter's account is deleted.
- Invited Date
- The date, in UTC, that the collaboration invitation was created.
- Invite Accepted Date
- The date, in UTC, that the collaboration invitation was accepted.
- Expiration
- The date, in UTC, that the collaboration is scheduled to expire.
Collaborations Report Filters
This section describes the filters that you can configure to run Collaborations reports.
- Owner
- Optional. Enter one or more names or email addresses of managed users or of user groups to limit the Collaborations report to collaborations by those owners.
- Collaborator
- Optional. Enter one or more names or email addresses of managed users or of user groups to limit the Collaborations report to only those users involved in collaborations and owners who collaborate with those user.
- Collaborator Type

Optional. The type of collaborator to include in the report. Select from:
- All
- Managed Users or Groups - Collaborations with people within your organization that you manage.
- External Users - Collaborations with people outside your organization.
- Invite Sent

Optional. The date range in which collaborations were sent. Select from:
- Last Day
- Last Week
- Last Month
- Last Years (and then select a number of years from 1 to 7 or All Time, which is as long as you have had an account tariff with reporting access)
- Custom Range (and then select a start and/or end date)
If you do not select a date range, the value used will be Past Years > All Time, which is equivalent to 7 years, or as long as you have an account tariff with reporting access if less than 7 years.
Last day/week/month/year(s) values mean the previous day/week/month/year(s) from the date the report was run.
- Invite Accepted

Optional. The date range in which collaborations were sent. Select from:
- Last Day
- Last Week
- Last Month
- Last Years (and then select a number of years from 1 to 7 or All Time, which is as long as you have had an account tariff with reporting access)
