As part of our ongoing support for customizable watermarking, which gives organizations and users more control over the watermarks applied to their sensitive content, we have also released a new enhancement enabling users to reset their watermarks back to the base template. This enhancement will help users experiment with highly customized watermarks, without having to worry about getting back to the standard.
When adjusting customized watermarks at the file level, upon selecting and confirming the reset option the file will immediately revert its watermark to the organization’s default configuration. Anyone previewing the file will have the watermark updated, and this action will only apply to that file. If performed at the folder level, users can toggle the ‘Apply settings to all files in this folder’ to ensure any new files added to the folder or subfolders will be given the default/reset watermark, however existing files will retain their previous watermarking.
