Box Governance helps organizations effectively dispose of their content, giving them flexibility to remove unnecessary data without compromising retention. We are excited to announce we are making enhancements that will reduce Admin complexity around retention and disposition, and will soon be releasing end user disposition insights.
Disposition Insights introduces a new disposition page, that gives end users visibility into expiring content. This provides end users a better overview of content coming up for disposition and gives them the opportunity to extend the expiration date to help ensure valuable content is not lost.
Admins will configure who has access to end user disposition insights, which will include the following:
- New Disposition page in end user application, containing files expiring in the upcoming days, weeks, or months
- Updated retention expiration notifications
- Visibility into expiring content for all collaborators
- Filters allowing users to narrow down the list of expiring files
- Ability to preview and review expiring files
- Extend expiring files for owners and co-owners, if policy settings allow for it
