We have released a few key updates to an enhanced integration with Box for Microsoft Teams, so users can access content while communicating and collaborating with teammates.
These changes enable joint users to:

Choose Box as a default storage option in Microsoft Teams, to enforce IT storage policies and prevent user confusion when uploading, sharing, and accessing files.

Use Box as a personal app in Microsoft Teams, so users can access their Box files within Microsoft Teams — not just the ones shared in channels or chats.

View Box content card previews within Microsoft Teams through a clean interface with larger thumbnails that enable Box files to be opened directly from preview with one click.

Admins will be able to automatically install the Box for Microsoft Teams integration for all users in their organization.

Box file tabs will be added to Microsoft Teams chats, for easy access to Box files.

The Box for Microsoft Teams integration will be pre-pinned to the tray below the message compose window in teams, for streamlined file sharing.
