We recently launched the Box AI Agent in Copilot, a seamless integration that brings your Box files into Copilot so you can use Copilot features directly with your content. If you missed the original announcement, see: Introducing the Box AI Agent in Copilot.
Coming soon, we’re enhancing the Box AI Agent in Copilot with deeper integration. This update delivers rich file previews and advanced tools directly within your Copilot experience.
Here's what these enhancements include:
- Deeper workflows: The improved integration unlocks more than just search. In this initial release, the Box AI Agent supports read-only actions. We’ll announce additional tools and actions as they become available.
- Visual-first search: See rich visual previews and insights from your files without opening links or switching tabs.
- Faster decisions: Reduce back-and-forth and clarifying questions so you can act more quickly.
What this means for current users:
- When we roll out these changes, existing users of the Box AI Agent in Copilot will be prompted to sign in to Box again.
- If your organization hasn’t deployed the integration for everyone, each user will also need to approve tool access.
