We released the ability for developers to set their recipient's language at the recipient level in the request payload by controlling the email notification and signing ceremony language for each recipient.
By default, Box Sign determines the language for each signer based on the signer’s Box account language setting if they’re logged in at time of signing. If they’re not logged in, Box Sign will default to English. However, in some workflows, especially legal or compliance scenarios, customers may need to explicitly enforce display in a particular language. With the language parameter, developes can explicitly set the language for a signer, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
This language configuration applies to:
- All email notifications sent to the signer
- The signing experience page
