We are excited to announce a new enhancement to our Box for Microsoft 365 integration, designed to boost mobile productivity by extending Microsoft Intune protection to all customers.
Key Capabilities
- New and improved Intune settings in the Admin Console: Admins have an updated page for turning on the Microsoft Intune MAM integration for Box for Microsoft 365 and configuring how it works.
- Support customers that don't use Microsoft Entra ID SSO: Intune app protection and conditional access policies now apply to Box content opened in Microsoft 365 mobile apps for every customer, including those who use an SSO provider other than Microsoft Entra ID.

Please ensure that this setting is enabled from the Box Admin Console. For more details, please refer to this support article.
Please note: Customers in Microsoft GCC High or DoD environments must still use Microsoft Entra ID SSO.
