Soon, customers will be able to access Box Agent tools through supported MCP clients, bringing Box’s AI capabilities into the AI environments they already use. Requests to Box will continue to use each user’s Box identity and permissions, while admins can configure which MCP tools are available to each integration.
Usage through Box Agent MCP tools consumes AI Units under applicable entitlements. Availability and setup details will be shared at launch.
