    That's exactly what I did? I deleted all files from my Box account but my storage still shows it's half used.

    Hi Everyone, 

    Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!

    I've ran the script that will recount all of the files and how much storage is being used in your respective accounts. Sometimes Box caches previous file counts and storage amounts causing a data inconsistency.

     You should now see the correct storage size available in your Box. This is a known issue and is a long term project for our engineering team to tackle. For details, please take a look at this article: Storage Usage Or File Count In My Account Is Incorrect
