This doesn't answer my question at all. It refers to a post that I have already mentioned in my comment. Is box even reading these questions or do you just blindly send links that don't answer anything. This is trash.

I have hundreds of users clamoring for new M1 MacBooks and M# iMac's are coming soon.  We need an ETA on Box Drive support for M1's on Big Sur.  Give us a time frame so I can at least tell our faculty how long they have to use the browser interface.  No bueno.

Alternatively I guess our campus can send your users to OneDrive???  I'll have to test that...

I also have hundreds of users of new M1 MacBooks who want their Box accounts locally synched. The article you link to is two months old. My dev team would have been able to write a solution in that time. My patience is wearing this and i'm likely to take my corporate account to Dropbox if you can't fix this. Thx Charles Gibbons CTO HDRUK

Honestly, Box support has gotten worse over the years. What does it take to provide an update to at least say that you continue to work on it? This is beyond ridiculous. I really hope we do decide to move to OneDrive which we pay for anyway. I'm not sure why we continue to use your product when you don't offer anything better and the support has suffered considerably.

A better timeline on completion of the M1 version would be appreciated. I purchased a Mac with Apple silicon and Box is the ONLY thing not working. This will cost me hundreds of dollars because I need to keep my old Mac (not trade it in) to be compatible with a university's Box Drive.

Craig I am literally in the same exact boat. I am in this terrible limbo and the worst thing about it is that Box doesn’t even seem to care. It’s trash. Box might as well have a homeless person living in it. That’s how trash it is. If Box is now going to be solely windows based, they need to make that clear to their customers.
