I've just joined Box (free option) and im trying to send some demo music files and dont want them to be dowloaded, I only want them to be heard only. It doesnt give me this option to send to the receiver. Also when i send share link it also asks receiver to join Box before they can access folder or files??

    Welcome to Box Community and glad to help! 

    You might want to check the permissions set to your particular Shared Link. Please note that to allow non-Box users to access your Box file or folder through Shared Link, you should create an open Shared Link. And once you do, anyone who access this URL link should be able to preview its contents without the need to log in. 

    To ensure the right people have access to shared content, you can configure access controls on a Box Shared Link as follows:

    • People with the link (public/open) - Anyone with the link can access the item and no Box account is required.
    • People in your company - People within your same Box enterprise, and people who have a Box account with the same email domain, can access content.
    • Invited people only - Only people who have been invited to the item (folder or file) can access the content.
