Support for lightweight markup language not documented

Even when documentation does not tell (https://docs.box.com/reference#section-supported-file-types) Markdown language is supported qquite nicely.

You can upload a document with .md extention and it gets rendered in the preview showing the "nice" HTML instead of the underlying plain text.

 

I am just curious if this intended and supported or not, and also I have two requests:

· By change other languages like AsciiDoc might be supported in the near future?

· Would it be possible to edit the documents online? The ability to edit those documents in plain text and then show the rendering would be very useful and offers more features that current Box Notes.

    I agree with this. Github now supports asciidoc and it is becoming more prevalent in complex environments where documentation creation becomes more automated. Asciidoc files are text files similar to markdown (md).

    The typical file extension is *.adoc.

    More and more technical writing documentation and static web sites are being created using AsciiDoc, using Antora for example.

    It's becoming more important for productivity to have the AsciiDoc format supported like MarkDown.
