iOS Swift SDK
With the popularity of Swift which is now approaching 4 years of age, are their any plans to implement an iOS Swift SDK? The lack of Swift support / lack of examples along this line is a hinderance towards development on your platform. We can use the REST api but this seems to defeat the purpose of having an easy to use library if we have to write our own. Along this line though, if there is not any inside work planned for this, we would be glad to help write any interfaces for you as I feel it would help a lot of developers and grow your developer base even further.
Thanks!

Thanks for asking! We use a fair amount of Swift internally, but have been slow to put it in our SDKs. We'd love to hear a bit more about which SDKs you are using, and where you see problems.
Just to understand your issues:
- which SDKs are you using (content, preview, browse, share, etc.)?
- is the pain mostly around the SDK interfaces, lack of sample code or both?
- what concerns do you have with using the BoxContentSDK from Swift?
If you have an example of what you'd like to see, I'd certainly be interested in a pull request or gist we could discuss.

Sorry for the delayed response. We would like the ability for file browsing, creation, sharing, and retrieval in the Box.com platform. We are currently using SDKs for Google Drive and Realm.
I've had issue with lack of sample code more than anything. I think if we had some sample snippets that addressed the above issues we could definitely make it work, but of course would love to see a dedicated Swift SDK later on.
Thanks for answering and again apologies for the delay getting back!

Hi Mark,
I am the Product Manager on our SDKs, and I have some news for you. We are in the process of developing a Swift SDK for iOS. More details here: https://medium.com/box-developer-blog/join-our-beta-for-the-new-box-ios-sdk-ecb37ce9c565
I know it's been a while since we reached out, but if you are still interested in learning more about the SDK, I would love to chat. Please feel free to reach out to me at sdks-feedback@box.com.
Thank you!
